My name is Jacob O'Brien, welcome to my personal website. I have recently completed the final year of my degree, with a major in business development & consultancy. My work experience to date has been broad ranging from my time at Superfy, a startup applying IoT sensors to help customers manage recycling operations, to my time at Retrograde, where AI agents were being applied to the challenges social media influencers face with managing brand deals. I have also worked on 2 startup projects myself, Meddi - a medication information app - and Skillsett - a marketplace that lets you pay to book in a video call with an expert. I was accepted into Ignite UCC, a graduate startup incubator, to work on Skillsett in lieu of a traditional work placement in 3^rd year. I have also picked up a proficiency in coding through these projects, and additional smaller personal projects, and this has become a hobby of mine. Some of my other hobbies include going to the gym, golfing and running with Milo (pictured).
